This is in judge Du's own words, "In light of the statistically significant differential effects..." They can't just pick and choose (which looks like what Du did) which way to interpret data to fit the outcome they want.

Even if she as judge does not have to be scientific (district judge for patent litigation should, imo) , does not mean she can be wrong, if wrong, has to be corrected.
