I agree with some of that. Time will tell how it all plays out. Our coronavirus statistics.....vis-a-vis the rest of the world......are particularly stunning. Does point to an utter lack of overall preparedness. Let's see what they do with the curve in the next two weeks.
For one small example, people in Asia have been wearing masks as an almost regular practice for years. We are just now coming to that realization.
I'm also a bit disappointed in the scientific community. We should have some decent therapeutics for this virus by now. I understand the delay in vaccine prevention due to our FDA guidelines.
But I'm puzzled by the lag in therapeutics in the interim.
The whole thing is somewhat reminiscent of the fear and uncertainty surrounding HIV/Aids in the early years.
Whatever dude, no one heard you pleading for everyone to go out and get masks, gloves and ventilators a month ago... It's easy to point your finger at the system when no one could have predicted this ongoing crisis.. Stop the political blaim game, yes?
