Capt. I am not a tax professional but as a traditional IRA is pre-tax, a conversion to roth would be counted as income taxed at your federal rate. Mine is quite high, but will not put me into a higher bracket. Simple math tells me that if AMRN hits my price target it will be more than worthwhile. I am now 20 years+ from retirement (was looking at a shorter time frame less than a week ago).
