Probably one of the more interesting thoughts despite sounding whacko.
Would the FDA allow it? Clearly it looks like an attempt to game the system, but the FDA has to follow the law. The reduced label would clearly have been acceptable if Marine never existed, so how can it not be accepted now?
So what follows if they do drop it?
The generics can not launch with the "reduced" label with Reduce-IT carved out as that would leave no indication at all. Would the FDA allow the generic to grandfather the old label?
