Dok, I wish you were right, but it really is at least a week too early to hope for the US to peak.
NYC, very possibly it could see a peak. And it would be nice to see the social distancing work to slow the spread throughout the majority of the country where people live far enough apart for it to work. And maybe if we see that it will help the moral and view.
Unfortunately I think we likely are looking at significant spread throughout much of the East Coast and the larger cities of the rust belt. And that is a lot of people.
The other place where I look for good news is Italy. The numbers have been looking good. It would be a huge relief to see some non Asian country put a halt to growth, even if for no more reason than it ran the natural course.
