Didn't he SELL before the 12/1 and sold @ 3.50 and then @2.50 and not sure he sold all anyway did he?
Also even if when he sold those SEVERAL yrs back at those numbers in a ROBUST MARKET that we have haqd since 2016 he has made lost more being else where ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD He may consider His real value may be in his ESCROWS.
Just ask why he is shutting down his funds and HE WILL REATAIN the ESCROW POSITIONS those funds held!!!!!!!!
So all in all I'd say he probably made a good call!!!!!!! And depending on how cheap this gets COOP , heck he may come back and play some more!
A lot have said here they wish they had doen the same thing at the same time TEPPER did since he got to participate in the GLORY YEARS of the market and probably tripled his money he got selling out...
IN time IMHO COOP will do fine BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT imho COOP will NOT be GETting ANY OF THE legacy assets previously owned or held by the debtor, IT JUST CAN'T LEGALLY HAPPEN UNLESS coop AHD TEH ABILITY TO BUY THOSE AND SOMEONE WAS WILLING TO SELL THEM TO coop!!
not gonna HAPPEN IMHO but I do feel they will get servicing rights if thre is anything left that needs servicing but won't own those assets
