Yes, I am aware of everything that you've said. My girlfriend is a nutritionist. I cut back on carbs and sugar about 3 months ago as my A1c just crossed over the diabetic line at 6.6

Another cause of inflammation inf the form of arthritic pain is gluten and sugar. And you are probably aware that any simple carb is turned into sugar by the body. Actually complex carbs are also converted to sugar, but more slowly.

My wife had inflammation along with other health problems. While going the medical route, we also researched for other possible remedies. Allergies seemed to be a possibility. Typical food allergies are dairy, gluten, nuts.

For her, when she cut the gluten, most of her problems went away. And over the last several years (5-6) I have lowerd my gluten intake in sympathy.

And have been going in the direction of low carb diets and really cutting back on refined sugar.

I can really tell the difference if I go on a sugar binge now...like eating cake with icing. Sometimes feel the inflammation it in the hands and fingers.

Long way of saying if you haven't tried cutting sugar, carbs, and gluten, maybe give it a try and see if it helps.
