Many of us make mistakes, and certainly ME

The focus of this board is to discuss issues related to the site, such as rules, feature requests, TOU, etc.

However my genuine question posted yesterday received scant attention and no response, while there have been several ADMIN posts since then on little of substance.

I appreciate this is essentially an ADMIN board, and everyone 'knows each other' thru ihub history so jokes etc are all good.

But a response, even a 'pointer' to some oft-posted rule I've overlooked would be appreciated.

I'll repeat my genuine question:

Why don't MODs who end up in The Jailhouse for egregious behavior LOSE their MOD position?

The Jailhouse is NOT the 'first warning'; MODs who make little effort to maintain decorum and keep things on-topic have no business maintaining their position as ANY board MOD.

I'm not talking about run-of-the-mill MOD activitiy of deleting posts they disagree with, even tho deleted posts may meet all TOS.

I'm talking about a MOD who ends up in JAIL. IMO that MOD is due to "LOSE PRIVILEGES" which should be all MOD positions, and maybe be unallowed to MOD any board for a period of X days after release from Jail.

Debate encouraged.
