sts66@ I forgot to mention a couple of advantages with the index ETFs.
1. No gaming in the stocks (Options)
2. No manipulation (you cant manipulate an index) ---------------------
Makes everything more transparent, and as I told you, over the last 10 years it is by far the best 'long-term assets' I have owned.
What you posted to me very much reflect the the Banks Hates passive ETFs as the have removed something like 70- 80% of pensions away from the Banks. (where pensionfonds managers actually just - do the same - buy's up a range of ETF's and takes 2- 3% adm - and calls it 'Active')
