There are many parts of the country that don't need shutdown

since they are not congested with people

One example is "the oil patch" areas within the USA

It's still going, although the low oil prices have curtailed alot of activity

It's mainly the larger cities that need to be quarantined

Remember that the majority of the USA is "wide open spaces"

and I certainly am currently glad I live there
