Hi Rose ...well tomorrow it gets very real for us.
Wife has to "round " for the nephrologists at 3 different dialysis sites.
They have set up separate spaces away from the actual dialysis floor where they screen every patient coming in for fever etc .
These patients need to be dialyzed every 3 days ...4 hrs at a time ...since their kidneys no longer function enough if at all.
They all have other health issues ...40% diabetic , most CAD etc

So what to do with the patient that shows all the symptoms and needs to dialyzed . They can't be admitted to the dialysis floor . They will need separate areas set up ....and all those treating them will know they will be at high risk of being infected without adequate personal protection .....which today is limited ...thus instructions on how to reuse of existing masks , gowns.

We have set up a separate area in bottom floor of our house ...separate entrance , shower , bathroom bedroom etc . Wife has to use that entrance , throw all her clothes in the wash , shower , new clothes ...and then into rest of the house .

As some one likes to say " we'll just have to see what happens " .....FU#K
