The JCP brand name might survive, but like so many other bankruptcies common shareholders will be last in line to receive any money or shares in the NEW JCP controlling entity. Beware! I've been through this before. Given JCP's lack of cash and other tangible assets vs. debts, common shareholders will likely get nothing.
