It must be an antibody test because the usually run PCR takes longer. The problem with such tests is obvious. It is for sure usefull, the doctors and hospitals of those patients need immediate results. Our currently leading virologist Drosten talked about it. He expects fast tests targeting a corona specific proteine latest in may. It will then be comparable to a simple pregnancy test with an immediate result.
