There have been a number of rumors over the years, none of which came to fruition from a number of sources. My "Hope" for a takeout stems from my deeply held belief that the only way Vascepa will have optimal revenues is if it is acquired by BP. GIA in my humble opinion, is idiocy!
For Vascepa to be better understood by doctors and patients it will take two years of special incentives for sales reps by BP. Europe does not allow DTC advertising so whichever BP is selling AMRN they will have to rely on their sales reps to get the word out to prescribers there.
According to most analysts the takeover window opens with a positive decision by Judge Du.
