Yes, Cannabis investors from around the world have their favorite companies. Some profitable and well positioned. But all of these small boats ( companies ) are in a sector ( ocean ) where the tide has been reseeding for 2 years.

Well, rule number ONE that most first time hemp farmers seemed to have neglected last season is that you have to have a buyer contracted BEFORE planting, not go around advertising hemp for sale after your crop is hanging to dry.

most farmers junked there crop due to the bottle neck at processing.

This is why you should either do your own processing like CWBHF, or have a contract with a processor set up well ahead of harvest. I remember you saying you gave up HALF of your crop to your processor for payment. That sounded very steep. Imagine not having to do that.

CWEB might be best in class but if the class sucks it don't matter. CBD is snake oil for most uses.

Now, because many beginner hemp farmers couldn't properly plan their processing and contracts ahead of time, CBD is snake oil? No, I don't think so. It's just as relevant to shaping your cannabis experience as THC is, thus all the different ratio products in different markets. I don't think you really think CBD is snake oil either, or you wouldn't be looking for clones again ahead of this planting season.

I called her this week to get some clones

Tons of farmers also did a horrible job last season and still expected their crops to fetch top dollar. If you grew hemp with the expectation of last season being trial and error for what will be ongoing process development to standardize your product, then you should have walked away from last season with valuable and even exciting knowledge to take into the next round.

If you were just trying to sell outdoor grown hemp flower for CBD content, CWBHF's own MD&As could have told you that you would likely lose money last season. They explain how they get their margins.

If you sold raw extract from your crop at a wholesale price, or sold it in a carrier oil without having a brand, then that also would contribute to having to sell at lower prices, and to far fewer customers.

Also, comparing what your business model was last season to what CW does, and has been doing for years, is just not appropriate at all. Totally apples and oranges.

Do you have a brand that garners any trust?

Can you reproduce the same hemp each season?

How reproducible is your extract?

What kind of facility did you do your extractions in? A farmer's basement, or a place that can pass a real FDA inspection?

Can you explain to anyone why they should buy your hemp, or your extract, or your finished products, instead of another grower's or manufacturer's stuff? What did you do to make it better than the next guy's stuff?

There is so much more than just farming that goes into having a successful hemp derived product company. Sales, marketing, QC, and R&D just to name a few things.

Good luck with planting this spring's crop.

Oh, lastly, you asked me, on this board, to PM you a long time ago in order to discuss ways to improve your crop or harvest, yet you never responded to me when I offered to help.

Since then, I have seen you post the same negative post about CW here and elsewhere so many times that I know for a fact you just want CW's price to crater as much as possible before you buy in.

Earnings are proof that this sector is a joke. Hemps real market will be fiber. Cbd does not do everything it's cracked up for. I hate to say it but that huge production facility might not of been a good move.

You clearly have never tried personally CBD and have no interest in it whatsover. My husband hurt his back few years ago and the only remedy for him is full strength 60mg of Charlotte’s Web. Yes it's $270 price tag that is steep but it's either this or pain killers with side effects and long term addiction. We pretty much always buy at the local store and even though we thought that it's expensive, it happened twice that it was all sold out.. the owner of the store says that it's his best seller. First time when it was out, we bought 3 different brands and none of them worked for him. Two of them gave him red eyes as if he smoked weed. It was bad experience.
So the second time when they were out, we just bought 50mg Charlotte’s Web that I actually always wanted to try it because it's their original formula with different type of processing and taste is different.
That to be said.. I believe market is still not discovered and FDA does good job to keep it this way as long as they can..
Also I believe that people who rely on CBD daily, they know which product to trust and quality absolutely matters in this sector.. so yes, I'm not surprised at all that all farmers that have zero experience with crop and strains and processing and CBD.. are out of buisness because they should be.
