Well, I think the Italy death rate is higher than it has to be because their system is overloaded, they are rationing intensive care, and that is causing a higher death rate.

One guy whose math work has been circulated broadly now alleges that system overload could cause the death rate to be 10x in a given jurisdiction.

That’s the whole point of “flatten the curve”.
