You make it far too logical...(I agree with you)...Amarin should talk to its KOLs ..particularly Bhatt...No question the greatest dangers from this contagion are related to increased Systemic Infammation...And if the cardiologists don't understand this then they should talk to the epidemiologists....

We have the ideal drug here...It's our chance to make a real entrance on the world stage...Amarin should go to China..Where the action really is.
We do have a presence in China already...We know the elderly with a CVD history are the group most at risk from the COVID-19 virus..Vascepa is benign..Do a short term clinical study on elderly with CVD histories..Vascepa verses placebo...Should see benefits in a month or less...Nothing to lose..everything to gain...

They are not having an easy time convincing docs to write scripts for V for the indication for which it has just been recently approved (based on phenomenal trial results) so good luck getting them to convince docs to fight the virus with V.
