They don’t have to know the exact timeline (Although Al Mussella states they know when results will be shared), but most companies give their best general estimate and explain things a lot more clearly. People aren’t demanding TLD at a certain time, they are hoping NWBO will not distract, as it sounds like you are suggesting they will continue to do.

sentiment_stocks,

Whether you realize this or not your "disappointment" will translate into traders, market makers and longs selling and selling short into a bear raid based on this exact sentiment. This is why Linda's voluntary choice of words this time was so important. She set this table which is essentially a time line for a coin flip event. Funding is not over and the available shares are dwindling. This is what the market knows. Best wishes.

Senti, I will not insist on TLD by the ASM as you put forward, they can only do that when they have it. BUT I will insist on there being something "very interesting" at the ASM sufficiently so, to warrant a trip to DC for the special invitation to the meeting and the urging to make travel plans for those more distant So the "interesting" news needs to be of significant proportion and not just another bread crumb to follow or carrot out at the end the new and longer stick. For it to be otherwise, means they are baiting investors, and I hope (believe) that is not the case at this crucial juncture.

Nice apologia for NWBO management. What else would one expect from you?

Quite frankly, it is NWBO that has set high expectations. It is LG that has expanded upon it exuberantly. It is they who need to follow up. Perhaps it would have been much better just to announce the date and venue for the meeting and sign off with...."see you there, Love and kisses, Linda."

It appears that DI is now back-tracking. The PR seems to be turning out to be a fiasco. What mis-management that they can't get a simple PR right without screwing it up. I can well understand LP/LG remaining silent all these years. AF ran circles around these "lawyers" when they did speak, all to shareholder consternation and embarrassment, not to mention the savaging of the SP.

In any event, I cannot imagine anything other than interesting involving top line. If management states at the ASM that:
1. We have data locked;;
2. We are going to unblind and analyse that data for TLD;
3. We will announce TLD mid-May
4. We will discuss the TLD at ASCO

This is sufficiently interesting though rather disappointing but not terminally so. It may be enough to hold off the hyenas. But TLD must follow shortly. Sorry, but to me nothing else is really interesting. As it should be. After all, it is all about TLD. It is about its being very interesting and very exciting. Without such a result, nothing else matters. A poor/even mediocre TLD is not interesting. After a 12 year trial it would be pathetic.

IMHO, if interesting has nothing at all to do with TLD, then the ASM will not be interesting but rather contentious. I don't believe that LG thinks a contentious ASM is interesting. JMHO.

I agree Senti. Personally I believe that the interpretation of the company's use of "interesting" is questionable and open to other possibilities. This IMO does not necessarily relate to getting TLD by the ASM. The company could for example, simply release the Direct paper that Dr Bosch stated was near completion at his last presentation and this would qualify as "interesting" to discuss. Sure investors would not be happy but so what ? The one thing I am certain of is that LP will unblind when she plans to regardless. I for one trust management to get this trial over the line and believe it will be sometime this year which is acceptable to me.
