#37949 RE: pegs1 #37946

Pegs.. Evidently the CHS Patent in NDSUs hands is simple enough where somebody might think it is easy to produce another version, but just like a mixed drink, (not my indulgence,) say a Screwdriver, the addition of another alcoholic beverage like Vermouth changes the whole chemistry of the drink? It becomes an entirely different product, and maybe has a lesser effect than the Original Screwdriver?

I don't know about those things, but when people start screwing around with a well designed and tested product like the CHS compound, they might waste a lot of money and time trying to arrive at a better formula, and never find it? We can just imagine the many trials and errors the original developers of the CHS material had to overcome before they made this monumental discovery! Saying that, they optimized the formula to the very extent of the present day knowledge at the time, so to make a better CHS+ may be just a waste of time? Not saying it cannot be done these days, with so much more being learned about nano-chemistry, but it is doubtful that the Boys first try will be successful, and will have to try all over again?

Men, try to buy-out the Original patent, as that will make you folks look better in the New Customer's eyes! Spend time buying that stuff rather than bringing in teams of scientists needed to improve upon something that is already quite revolutionary? IMO only...
