#2849 RE: kwitz22 #2848

I had really expected to hear something from the company by now.

The single snippet of the strategic alliance that they shared with is not all clear as to what a sale for VerdeWatts means for CoolTech.
"Pursuant to the agreement VerdeWatts and the Company each granted the other a royalty free non-exclusive license to certain patents which license is subject to certain future negotiation"

We don't get royalties, but it does mention license. CoolTech doesn't sell any parts, nor is doing the upfitting, but I can't imagine anyone would be foolish enough to agree to get zero dollars for technology they have spent 50 million and a decade developing. But I did use a conservative estimate of 10% for CoolTech's possible cut of the $150 million because of this lack of clarity.

The bright side is that MG on its own isn't appealing, and if VerdeWatts is giving them what it is getting from CoolTech (i.e. a royalty free rights to using its intelligent control system) then it means that we are likely in a much better position than we were before the deal and that things can still turn around very quickly for CoolTech if they can successfully sell some units themselves. Especially if they can do it in the U.S that isn't going to be hindered by the EXIM approval schedule. They have supposedly been developing contacts in the utility industry. I think one of their board members is a high level executive at a utility industry (in the northeast unfortunately where no one is interested in micro grids).

I don't expect this to drop to the 0.003 level unless shares start to get dumped like they were in Feb. I attribute the trading the last few days to be people exiting that thought there would be news in the next few day. But we will see.
