Risk_it _us I doubt I have ever posted on Bob Jones ability or lack thereof. I believe a lot of Tim Huffs problems came from Bob Jones estimates, but that's a guess. I'll say that you do not need to be an expert in the technical subject to lead a successful project. I have no idea if Doug Murch is more or less qulified that Bob Jones, none of us would know this fact. What we do know is the dates given for the Strat were continuously missed and it is hard to believe that Bob Jones didn't bear some serious responsiblity in the matter. It is altogether possible that Mr. Khoury did not want the same experience.

I dont agree with the subtle bash attemp on this board, but the moderator judgement of some of these boards are tainted at worst, poor on average. they have no real guidlines, just their own personal feelings on the matter with a limited view of keeping the content on coarse. you have communism on one end capitolist in the middle and socialism on the other. these boards sway to the right and left and sometimes realize the financial core. but one thing is for sure, they are a good spawning ground for sophisticated bashers and pumpers.
