Curious. On seeing the location of the 17 acres on the other side of the road from the rest of the commercial campus, and adjacent to Sawston village, I thought to myself that they will have their work cut out getting a planning application for a housing scheme approved.
It will be a very tall order to get a planning application for a large housing development approved given the location of the acreage and the fact that some of it is designated Green Belt.
That's not to say that it's an asset of little value. It's just not one which is quickly realisable.
Planning climates change over the years, and what is not possible today may become feasible a few years down the line.
