Their is incentive as the shares are given at face value at the time. Without doing the right things these shares will not go up. It isn't as though they give these shares at rock bottom prices but at the going price.

Uhhhhhh..... you might want to look at the Form 4s again.

On January 1, 2020, Lampert got 200,000 GRWG shares at $0.

On February 10, 2020, Lampert got 116,254 GRWG shares at $0.

By Wednesday's closing price, that's $1,682,423.40 in shares Lampert got (on top of whatever else he has).
