Xena your due diligence file needs to add all the new news. You should send it to the Trump Administation and the Alzheimers Association. I keep hearing talk but neither mentions or knows about AVXL.. BTW, great work !

It could signify another significant event such as partnership

Most of us can see that some kind of change seems certain. Either partnership of some kind or merge w/bigger BP firm, etc. Let's hope we end up w/a good cultural match since the after life will be nothing like what got us here. IMO, a good fit within an existing BP structure with an open culture is the best way to go. The test case we saw w/BIIB (MS-lab) would be an example of a bad fit and needs to be avoided.

yes, I know, it's a nice problem to have and it may be a ways off but we can be certain AVXL staff are aware of it and maybe uncertain. Any leadership team that has been through one of those will say it is a challenge to transition from R&D focus to operations focus. There have been many books written on the topic in silicon valley-hi-tech worlds. This context is tough and has to on the table right now for planning at least. So, everyone needs to be wearing two hats as we move forward.

The great news is we have at least 3 trials about to reveal, which will require our best thinking and focus. It's the (THEN WHAT?) 900 lb. gorilla that goes with it. My hope is for AVXL multiple, limited partnerships with extended transitions to ensure good cultural FIT (s). Once the results are firmed up then staying focused on serving patients would be my choice while the dust settles. SP will take care of itself.
