john1311, sorry to burst your bubble but just because Canada has approximately 6x the population you cant assume the same sales potential as Colorado. California, which is said to have the 'biggest legal marijuana market'...and a population that is 2 million residents greater than all of Canada...only made a little over $2B in sales in 2019.

California's issues are black market influence and absurd taxation for legal operators.

You should consider diversifying and playing the Colorado market. Colorado has been recreationally legal for 5+ years and there are 520 dispensaries throughout the state...which covers roughly 105,000 square miles. The problem with Canada is that it is almost 3.86million square miles in size and still under 500 operating dispensaries. It is not convenient for Canadians to purchase legal weed.

Also, since it is federally illegal, Colorado operators had to build their businesses without bank involvement. Meaning that they needed cash to operate and to continue to produce revenue in order to stay in business. They didn't start off with "global intentions" and fund their aspirations with NYSE/NASDAQ investor dollars. They started off small and if they grew their business did so responsibly out of fear of not producing the revenue to fund the operation.
