ADHD and various forms of Autism may have problems with neuro chemistry. But what I have been told re..Aspergers is the neuro chemistry is normal..The brain architecture is not...The brain has a lot of plasticity...Meaning that if one portion of the brain is damaged or does not function properly. Then the brain can recruit other areas to substitute for the loss of function..My understanding is the recruited areas do not function as well as the originals...
