Guessing 20 years, but smaller if they replace our technology. I am not greedy. Anything above $0.10 PPS (net) is oki-fine with me. However, if they continue to use our IP beyond jury trial and judgement in our favor, I would prefer to charge them an enormous amount that is so prohibitive that it forces them to use alternatives. Again, I am a really nice guy...just do not steal from me. ;)
For damages, we need to key in on Dr Teece's .28 per subscriber month. Maybe between now and trial we can figure out the number of subscribers using 3.0 modems, and multiply it by $30.24 (.28 x 12 months x 9 years).
Higher than that. My estimation of using the damages number from Dr Teece is $600-800 million range. I think the final deal will pay for lawyers, so lop $100 million from each figure for whatever we dont know about and you get $500 million minimum. Your .03 is only $48 million of that, and I think we will get a lot higher cut than that.
