Network Management Inc. (NMI) reports the launch of its new POSA program. According to the company, many retail locations may already have equipment that can be used with this system. With this technology, prepaid phone cards are activated at the point of purchase.
In other news, NMI reports a partnership with Card Ready. Card Ready provides merchant services for retail locations, telephone orders and internet e-commerce. NMI's second-generation POSA will be a combination of credit/debit card-processing services along with the value-added services of a POSA profit center terminal.
