biowreck... the uptake?
I don’t know you or your background. So, I will not question your expertise. Having said that, I will share this thought: Rome wasn’t built in a day. Meaning, the uptake will come. If you expected a complete 180 right after the new indication then you don’t understand medicine, clinician habit and the importance of frequency of message in the pharmaceutical industry. It is quite rare for any drug to achieve blockbuster status within its first year. I mentioned on a previous post a couple of weeks ago that it takes 7 sales calls to begin to change the prescribing habit of a clinician. Not to completely change their prescribing, but to get them to move from no usage to trialing the medication. These reps just started. Give it time. The frequency of message will take root.
