#20844 RE: blulotus #20840

I understand your confusion

"yes but the mine will be closed in 20 years not 200."

The plans for the new smaller mine say that the mining will last 20 years. BUT that is because Pebble's mining plans have to be resubmitted every 20 years in order to show that no damage has been done to the surrounding area and that the salmon have not been harmed. Also if Northern Dynasty is planning on any changes, such as further development of the road system, or a change in the size of the tailing dam, then these changes have to be submitted.

The Pebble mine will not harm the environment or the salmon. If any changes are envisioned, you can be sure that they will be carefully thought out and will also not harm anything.

Mine plan updates that don't have obvious flaws are ALWAYS APPROVED.

There are multiple mines that have been operating for over a hundred years. Some have had catastrophic failures during their lifetime, but with the engineering knowledge that has grown over the years, these were able to be corrected, and the reconfigured safer mines were then allowed to continue.

These catastrophic failures were brought about by the mine owners failures to follow approved mining practices. Pebble's plans will be the most closely watched and monitored plans ever, and so you can be sure that all the safeguards in the world will be incorporated in the plans, plus Northern Dynasty's management has clearly and consistently shown that they are determined to follow approved safety mining practices, so they will have no problems getting their mine plans approved every 20 years.

I will also point out that the mines that have been in existence for over 100 years, have huge ore deposits.

Pebble's ore deposit dwarfs all of these mine's ore deposits. Globally there is not a mine IN THE WORLD that has ever come close to Pebble's ore deposit(s). That is why Pebble's LOM, life of mine, will be over 200 years. AND Pebble's ore deposit will be one of the LOWEST COST, HIGHEST PROFIT porphyry deposits IN THE WORLD.

Only a truly tiny portion of Pebble's deposit has been drilled. Once the mine has been approved, and a joint venture partner from a major mining company has been formed, the mine will be built.

It will take at least four years to construct the mine, the tailing dam, the roads leading to the mine and the gas pipeline, plus the power plant, etc. Then mining and production of the copper and gold will commence. But even while the mining is taking place, exploratory drilling will also be taking place. And even while all the copper and gold and molybdenum and all the other metals are being mined and removed, even greater quantities of ore will be outlined by the ongoing drilling.

And so, even as the ore is being mined, even greater amounts will be delineated and Pebble's deposit will be growing in size. Growing into multi-centuries worth of ore. And as the size and cash flow and profits increase, so will NAK's share price.

Pebble will be around for many lifetimes. Ownership of the shares can be passed from generation to generation.

That is why owning shares in NAK at these ridiculously low prices will be a life changing happening.
