bid, JZ has BS & MS in Chem E and with his experience in Reliant before Amarin, I think he is uniquely qualified to have setup Amarin's patent moat.

I think he did not get enough credit to setup MARINE, ANCHOR and recruit Dr. Bhatt to chair REDUCE-IT. There is nothing he could have done to stop the FDA from rescinding the ANCHOR SPA.

All the patents have been aggressively vetted through patent back and forth; this is a long and factual process. You can’t easily get a patent....

The Marine R-I patent is very solid with a game changer clinical trial as a non-obvious argument; think of Dr. Nissen taking the stand for Amarin and going over his library of Vascepa/R-I/mineral oil statements.
