What I've said is I have_a_ gain in every stock I own. Easy to do when my average holding period is 10+ years, and very smart since there's sound academic evidence that high portfolio turnover correlates with poor performance, or "The More You Trade, The More You Lose." I'm an investor, not a stock trader, or flipper.
