More just timing. There are numerous post about it now. A quick Google shows the news is being reported by Bloomberg, Nasdaq, Seeking Alpha and Motley Fool. Maybe they feel if they piggyback Tilray's downsize announcement it will soften the blow? If it is happening it makes sense to post along with Tilray because if ACB posts something negative the stock falls, while at the same time, if any Canadian cannabis company posts something negative ACB also goes down. Do it now and eliminate the double dip.
