It's true, Anavex may continue to sell sell shares for quite a while to fund operations and growth.

What you failed to mention is that Anavex will likely be selling those shares at a much higher price to fund the additional trials that will be started for 3-71 and the other drugs in the pipeline.

All of those shares will increase the overall shareholder value since the money generated by selling those shares will result in an increase of the share price more than the small amounts of dilution's negative impact.
