Losing any particular long doesn't matter in the face of the growth in the long. There will ALWAYS be people who come and go. There will people who shed shares the second they are green as well, continued flipping etc.
The difference is still discovery, as people exit, others ENTER. They CREATE a new floor for themselves, as the company grows and more and more folks ENTER over time, they have new DD, new confidence based on what IS, not on what WAS. Just like one could have held the stock from 2010 to 2017 before the Snakes acquisition and 'lost confidence' sold and missed the huge change to the company.
That is just part of the whole ball of wax in any stock. The investing community as a whole has a short memory, is forward focused and bases on how the company is coming along on its forward path. Period.
Plenty peeps left Tesla, losing confidence when it dipped below 200 not too long ago... Same can be said of so many stocks.
Some difference here is a single investor can and does impact the stock with a large enough sell and fueling the MMs scare tactics and attacks. But that is a day, that is a week or month even. But, in the long run, a company that is growing, performing and scaling like we are is a rolling stone gathering moss. It gets too be too ignore, 'crosses the investment chasm' and massive world opens up.
We are targeting Silicon Valley. One amazing location around there, so much insane amounts of money, one of those folks visits with friends or family and the idea sparks in their head, suddenly millions, tens of millions flows in... This is that type of discovery, be it organic, IR firm related once we find the right professional IR, gaming community, or just sheer masses as we hit 7 locations, then 10 then 20...
At a point, it makes that leap to the next stage.
That is the vision
That is why I am invested
That is why I've spent hours and hours and hours doing due diligence, investigating, watching the markers of success, even when the night is long and full of terrors.
Because I know.
Dawn will break.
