Lovaza is banned in Europe.The ema wont let it be used as an add on with statin anymore
Excellent point/reminder JM! I had almost forgotten about that. EU just flat out banned all the DS Fish Oils and Lovaza/GL right along with them as an add-on. Vascepa is primed and ready for EU.
Unlike the US, there won't be any slow uptake or trying to replace with GL or having to deal with PA I would think. This makes EU very valuable to AMRN. Plus 11 year runway after EU approval. There has to be several BPs out there licking their chops at the $Billions of dollars in sales of Vascepa on the table. JT even said it was premature at this point, but that they have been approached. It's brewing. Oh yeah, it's brewing for us. Somebody just leak a rumor and share price will skyrocket. Please. All it's gonna take.
