The Appeal Avenue is Available

per previous posts from knowledgeable legal system posters

If Amarin lost, I think we would all hope that Amarin would appeal

If Reddy/Hikma lost, I suspect (75% sure) they would appeal

just to see if they could get a different ruling from another court

and/or get some kind of settlement with Amarin

I think you have to differentiate between filing an appeal, reversing/overturning the verdict, making a successful appeal in part, and a law office employment project/client resource immolation ritual. One hopes that it doesn't get all the way to another California riff; "the vexatious litigant".
