#1405 RE: johnnymcgriffin347 #1403

I'm glad to hear from you johnnymcgriffin347. Did you remove yourself as a moderator?
Let me help you. Patents are something I'm really interested in as per the message I sent yesterday.
"Anyone, I would imagine, who has tried to create a biotech company knows just how important patents are. You learn this when you’re studying, and again at your first job, and if you haven’t done so before, you realize it the first time you meet potential investors.” (Mads Øvlisen, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Novo Nordisk).
Patents at the Core: the Biotech Business
THANKS to Grant Gordon, who is the founder of VT, for this information.

VT has 7 patents for world markets amounting to over $139bn in size.
They have 31 patents pending.
That is known in the business as very significant :-)
I don't believe they have has many patents dismissed however that is fairly irrelevant. ALL THAT IS IMPORTANT IS HOW MANY PATENTS THE COMPANY HOLDS, EACH OF WHICH HAS A 20 YEAR LIFESPAN AND WITH CIPs CAN LAST FOR A DECADE MORE.
As a matter of interest do you know how many patents Dan Montano's company holds & how many FDA clinical trials they have on the go?
