Absurd - please link to disclosures of deliberation and negotiation times for BP biotech decisions. It's been my experience that they are announced when completed, but not when begun. When abandoned, it is rarely public knowledge.

Pure fiction:

We have seen time and again, BP make BO or collaboration offers very quickly if they see potential. (Even investors also do the same - depending on what their DD says and conviction they have, they decide to invest or sell the stock)

The fact that after exploring-investigating A2-73 for MS, they did not move forward - it tells you that they did not find the necessary potential.

This is the same BIIB brain trust who subsequently went w/more AD Plaque trials, which burned a lot of people including study patients (I know one), stock holders and a few recently unemployed top BIIB managers. Friggen brilliant reasoning.
