Perhaps Amarin figured that DTC advertising would be soon be seen in Canada and would stimulate growth there....Also it may be in HLS' interests to acquire reps in the future to promote Vascepa in Canada...Amarin could then reimburse HLS for some of the expense of the reps by lowering royalty payments to Amarin when certain sales figures are met.
