Yes your right, not %50 enrolment but rather %50 completion. Along that line of thinking though that also was how many years ago for the last approved drug for Alzheimer’s with minimal if any efficacious results? The world was and still is desperate for an efficacious drug! This is kind of a new era with new ways of thinking and new ways of proving efficacy ie RWD and RWE. So lets just agree here that at the latest, the FDA will peek at %50 completion (instead of wasting 50 precious posts on this topic) but I hold out hope that with other disease readouts and a in a new era of precision medicine trials , should patients be showing major signs of efficacy, they stop the trial(s) (at least in AU) and give patients access to the drug sooner!
