I think the court filing was the LASt part of the lawsuit. It is a confirmation that the deal was done and everything is over.

I don't think the courts need to know any particulars about the financial transactions.

That makes no sense to me. Interdigital filed an 8-k on 10/18/19 stating they entered into a worldwide royalty bearing license agreement. Of course the terms of the agreement control, but if it did not begin to bear royalties in 2019 our management is really bad at negotiating.

I suspect the delay has more to do with them determining the amount of income to recognize in 2019 from ZTE. I also suspect the agreement is a bit convoluted to hide the fact they are not collecting much from the long term infringement by ZTE.
