I got a high school, liberal arts kind of education. Lotta technical courses afterward. From what I am finding out about bio-markers, I feel their great diagnostics. First in detecting any development of malignancies, then in monitoring their growth or remission.

Any biological agent, beneficial or malignant, survives on its metabolic system, consuming and excreting specific proteins and enzymes we're just learning of and identifying. Finding the filament excretions of malignant Lewy Bodies or invasive proteins within samples of CerebroSpinal Fluid (CSF) with invasive spinal taps is a method to target the nutrient source of the assailing agent.

The oral dosages (non-invasive) provided by PTI-125 induce a corrupted element within the lewy body's (or equivalent's) nutrition source. Resulting in effective STARVATION of the malignancy.

Pretty Damn elegant. Treatment will probably have to be administered over the lifetime of the patient. Additional properties of PTI-125 include reduction of inflammation of cognitive receptors and neural transmitting cellular structures.
