Mrmain. My company was running 3 construction / high rise exterior painting and repair projects often in high traffic areas of SF ... each month for 9 mths a yr .

Sh#t happens ... either from our employees or subcontractors ... damage occurs and sometimes people won’t accept settlement .

Over 30 yrs I signed about 600 contracts. Some of those we had to sue to collect final payment .

This legal action is a huge distraction for Amarin mgt at a time they need to be 100% focused on launching / marketing the new CV label

If / when a settlement is announced I expect the PPS to jump at least 25%

Kiwi, I've been in business for 30 years and not been involved in a single court case. WTF were you doing all that time that caused constant litigation?

mrm, 30 days in 30 years doesn't strike me as 'all the time'. One case could require a thirty day trial, though that would be an outlier. I had folks in court probably twice that amount over four years of public service, on a variety of issues.

In the US, it's how many disagreements get settled, for better or worse. And anyone can sue you at any point, if they want to--even if you have signed agreements agreeing not to do so...

construction is extremely litigious.
