Tis gone on too long with your responses, please educate yourself regarding the difference between the use of words then, and than.

The trials do say that.
They show that, in terms of prevention of Severe OM, Brilacidin would likely be more effective than a 3 times a day swish of water for 21 days in patients treated with a (80-100 mg/m2) dose of cisplatin every 21 days.

They also show that, in terms of the prevention of Severe OM, a 3 times a day swish of water for 21 days would likely be more effective than Brilacidin in patients treated with a (30-40 mg/m2) dose of cisplatin administered once a week for 3 weeks and that warrants explaining.


I don't discount the results of the B-OM in the single treatment protocol and I've heard that it is, or is becoming, the standard of care. The point is that there's an inconsistency in the results which presumably accounts for the FDA's desire to see the results in the weekly dosage protocol again.

Do you disagree with any of that?
