Looking ridiculous isn't a legal concept.

Grounds for appeal of course is. But that is judged on the merit of the appeal.During that pendancy the overhang drags on.

You certainly can appeal and it takes virtually nothing to appeal. Simply claim the judge made an error of law and youre in. Claim your OWN attorneys were knuckleheads, and you’re in. The point is to constantly grind your opponent into submission (unlikely here because we have money)

Finding grounds for an appeal is extremely easy and often used as a strategy. In this case it would keep an overhang on this stock.

You can't appeal if you look ridiculous and have no grounds for appeal.
