That Click-Bait site's intentionally misrepresenting meaningless MM intra-day order processing "volume" as shorts.
Short INTEREST are borrowed shares needing to be bought back at some point in the future.

Short "Volume"s just MMs filling orders. On thinly traded stocks, they sometimes need to borrow shares very briefly as part of their job to quickly process orders during the day.

borrowed shares here by market makers used to make trades. They no the inevitable is soon to happen.

The more closer to yearend we get the shares will need to be covered not to mention all the true short players feeling the heat out there!!!
