#63261 RE: KentuckyHemp #63226

Hello Mike, hope all is well in this holiday season. A couple things, I guess. It could very well be a slant piece as it did surprise me. Your boots on the ground in the home state so your view point would certainly be better than something I read. I will take your word for it the strong base. In regards to the impeachment matter I think we will differ. I think they use to call people like me the silent majority, meaning I’m as far away from the far left as I am from the far right. I don’t vote all red or all blue on issues, I vote on what makes sense. In regards to how the Senate does their jobs, including McConnell.
https://news.gallup.com/poll/1600/congress-public.aspx
Shows 24%. Approve. And the chart I provided is for the last 35 years. I am not in that 24%.I do not approve. In my world they were elected to do a job, if they can’t do it get them the hell out of there. Now I will say the lobbyists and special interest groups love these people and they do a good job getting them /keeping them in place. If I had a choice those groups would be banned. It’s not the will of the people, it’s the will of big money. But then I don’t work for those groups. In regards to the impeachment, the obstruction alone is enough, he even bagged about it. And anybody could see what was occurring. Is it enough to get him removed, well the Senate votes party lines, both red and blue, so I would think he will not be removed? At that level we are not a nation of laws, but which party can cast the most votes. But after that the people vote at the end of the year, and then we’ll find out how all of that sits with the silent majority.
Anyway, IMO
