Mitch McConnell, the president’s most stolid defender, is down to an 18 percent job approval rating in Kentucky.

I love all your posts, but don't sell McConnell short. I'm an old political organizer in Kentucky. Whatever poll you were referencing must be a 'slant' piece. McConnell has a tremendous base here in my state and there's no chance in hell that he will lose the next election. Too many conservatives here.

Also, you can thank the Democrats and their constant posturing of removing the president from office. This impeachment debacle has consumed precious time for McConnell and other law makers. Here's hoping that just as soon as the Senate throws out this impeachment, McConnell and others can get back to working on ways to remedy our CBD problems.
