I bought my Dell about a year ago and took the 2 year service contract...I had heard only the best comments about Dell....BUT, I soon learned the SOFTWARE had only 60 days service factor....I had problems and would try for hours to reach them...You get to the DELL numbers ok but no one ever picked up...I would call until 2am and get messages that they were busy and to call later only to eventually find out that the hours were over and no one was there to take calls in the first place...And they just could not successfully transfer a call from one place to another...
It was only after I called the return dept. that I got some help...THEIR SOFTWARE SERVICE STINKS..and I suspect I would have problems elsewhere as well if I needed it....CPQ was better but that was years ago....I'M new here , but I'm happy to finally get this off my chest....
